About
Minimum wage is pitifully low across the world, simply too low for people to afford bare essentials of living. Humanity is drastically worsened by the amount of people who are prevented from pursuing their dreams, or simply taking advantage of the great wealth of resources society creates. Minimum wage staying down is beneficial to the class of people who employ others, and detrimental to the vast majority of human beings who are employed.
The US federal minimum wage is $7.25, and kept there by Republicans in government who categorically oppose laws to raise it, including persons such as Lamar Alexander, Republican senator (pictured).
