There are many domesticated animals without homes, and who fare poorly living in the wild. There are too few places and resources to take care of them adequately, which leads to overcrowding in existing shelters, tragic euthanasia policies, and large stray populations who face serious health issues in the wild. One way to address the problem of domesticated animal homelessness is to create new shelters and help in the ongoing struggle to take care of all this planet's creatures.
