About
Stop and curb the use of fossil fuels in our infrastructure and everyday lives. Move towards appropriate technology and low tech options that don't require the use of a combustible fuel source. Focus instead on renewable energy generation with solar, wind, hydroelectric, geothermal. Minimize the use of personal cars and vehicles and opt for public transit, even better if that public transit is electric, like a trolley bus that doesn't require huge batteries to operate. Push for politicians to stop capitulating to fossil fuel companies, push universities to divest from fossil fuel funding and from teaching classes that enrich fossil fuel companies. Do direct action to shut down oil pipelines and stop more pipelines from being built by working with land protectors. Do anything and everything you can to stop using fossil fuels and to try and get renewable forms of life to be the norm.
