Guerrilla gardening is the act of gardening – raising food, plants, or flowers – on land that the gardeners do not have the legal rights to cultivate, such as abandoned sites, areas that are not being cared for, or private property. This is helpful in food deserts or in highly dense urban areas where airable land is hard to come by. Guerrilla gardening means using empty spaces of land to plant food or flowers, this can be sidewalk strips with soil, public parks, empty lots, anywhere that there is soil can become a garden.
The Magnova community says Guerilla Gardening addresses the following issues. (Registered users can upvote/downvote these connections.)
